Who is ongoing management for?
You may already have an affiliate programme but lack the time or specialist resource to develop it. Perhaps a handful of partners drive most of your sales, recruitment has slowed or reports do not explain what to do next. I take ownership of the agreed day-to-day activity and build a plan around your budget, brand and commercial targets.
Find and activate the right affiliate partners
A large partner list is not the same as a productive programme. I review who is active, which audiences they reach and where there are gaps. Recruitment and activation can cover publishers, creators, comparison platforms, loyalty and cashback partners where they fit your brand. The aim is a purposeful partner mix, with clear next steps for each relationship.
Plan campaigns that support your brand
Partner activity should connect with product launches, seasonal demand and your wider marketing calendar. I manage conversations about content, placements, offers and incentives, balancing exposure with cost. Awareness partnerships may need an upfront fee and a longer evaluation window. We agree how their contribution will be assessed rather than judging every activity only on an immediate sale.
Manage commissions and measure commercial value
Commission changes need a commercial reason. I review partner performance, programme costs and the quality of referred sales before recommending incentives. Reporting can cover revenue, new customers, cost per sale and average order value. Where the data allows, we also assess whether activity is creating additional demand; a tracked sale is not automatic proof of an extra sale.
How we work together
We agree the scope, communication rhythm, reporting and decision-making responsibilities before starting. I can act as your day-to-day affiliate manager or work alongside an in-house team. Platform charges, partner commissions and paid placements are distinct from the consultancy fee. If the programme’s foundations need a deeper review first, an audit can identify what to fix before increasing investment.
